The Servant Heart began in a hospital during the Christmas season of 2024.
I was visiting my grandmother while she was very sick in the hospital, and as I walked the hallways, I couldn’t help but feel deeply saddened for the many people spending Christmas sick in the hospital. What broke my heart even more was seeing how many of them had no one coming to visit them.
I remember saying to my mom and grandmother, “I just wish I could give them something—a gift—to uplift their spirits and help them feel the joy of Christmas.”
Then, an idea came to me.
Only a month before, I had learned how to make rosaries for the first time. I looked at my mom and said, “What if I made rosaries for everyone here at the hospital? I could teach you how to make them, too, and what if we gave them out so that everyone could have a gift for Christmas?"
Without hesitation, my mom said, “Yes! This is such a Servant Heart thing to do.”
And so, The Servant Heart was born.
What began as a simple desire to bring comfort to people who were hurting has grown into something much greater than rosary making. It has become a movement centered around one mission: to inspire women to become the best Catholic Proverbs 31 women they can be.
We believe that becoming a woman of God is lived out in the everyday moments of our lives. It is found in mass and the Sacraments, in growing in virtue, practicing gratitude, caring for our bodies—the temples of the Holy Spirit—through exercise and discipline, working diligently, cultivating our homes, and faithfully embracing the responsibilities and vocations God has entrusted to us.
And at the heart of it all is prayer.
Our mission is to inspire women to live prayerful, disciplined, virtuous, and Christ-centered lives, always striving to grow closer to Our Lord and become the women He created them to be.
Through each rosary we create, we hope to place a weapon and sacramental of grace in your hands for the spiritual battle- a beautiful instrument that guides you closer to Christ through the intercession of Mary, Our Blessed Mother, and Queen.
The Servant Heart is about more than making rosaries.
It is about becoming women of prayer.
Women of virtue.
Women of strength.
Women of service.
Women who strive to live wholeheartedly for Christ.
This is the movement.
This is The Servant Heart.
